Sand pump is a specific application of centrifugal pump named pump. Essentially the sand pump is a general term. The CP series sand pump manufactured by KOSUN is used to transport mud, which can be used as the feed pump of desander and desilter, or the mixing pump of jet mixing device. At the same time, it can also be used as the filling pump of drilling mud pump.
 

Sand pump is a special type of centrifugal pump, which is the power source of desander, desilter, rotary flow slurry distribution device in mud solid control equipment of drilling fluid. In addition, it can also be used as a grout pump for mud pump assisted grouting, wellhead replenishment pump, mud transfer and transfer pump between mud tanks.
Due to the abrasive and corrosive nature of drilling fluid, the interior of the pump body is often damaged. Therefore, it is necessary to effectively block solid particles from falling into the front and rear guard plates of the impeller. Another very important problem is that the flow rate and head of the sand pump should match with the hydrocyclone (desander, desilter, rotary slurry distribution device). Otherwise, the hydrocyclone will not work.
