The work principle of KOSUN Mud/Gas Separator:

Well kick happens when use low density drilling fluid. When drilling fluid flow up to the wellhead, the bubble expanded. So, when the drilling fluid with lots of down-hole drilling fluid into gas returns, the expanded gas bubble cause well kick.When the gas drilling fluid into the degasser, it first hit a piece of steel plate, decrease the drilling fluid speed, prevent the wear harm of the separator. Then the drilling fluid flow to a series of internal baffle. Flow down to form a flocculant flow shape, to separate the gas and liquid.

Free gas exhausted through the initiation of the gas outlet and the drilling fluid into the circulation tank.
