- Mud/Gas Separator is the special equipment of degassing the gas-invaded mud at the first grade. It is mainly used to remove big bubbles with diameter above φ3mm and these bubbles refer to the expanded gas in the fluid that fill in some parts of well annulus. Well kick even spilling out to the rotary table will easily occur if they are not removed.
